Welcome to South Street Bar! We're June and Cameron, a local family who wanted to create something different here in Southend.

So, what are we? Not just a pub, coffee shop, or sports bar. As June says, we're a destination. Come for a relaxed drink downstairs by our baby grand piano, or head upstairs for pool, darts, and retro arcade games. Two distinct vibes under one roof.

"We want this to be the new place to go," says Cameron. "Independent spots are where people should be spending their time."

We were honoured to have the Mayor of Southend, Nigel Folkard, officially open our doors. He called us a testament to the city's entrepreneurial spirit and community values and that's exactly what we're about.

Open until 2am, we serve a simple but lovely food menu, alongside rare finds like Modelo on draft and a distinctive Ethiopian coffee blend.
